ANY STUDENT OR STAFF MEMBER WHO HAS COVID-19 SYMPTOMS, OR HAS BEEN RECENTLY EXPOSED TO SOMEONE WHO HAS COVID-19, IS NOT PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY ACTIVITIES AND MUST STAY HOME!  These symptoms include but are not limited to: temperature over 100.4, cough, nausea or diarrhea, sore throat, shortness of breath, or close contact/cared for someone with COVID-19.

The Oley Valley School District follows the requirement from our athletic training provider, St Luke's Health Network, that any student-athlete who becomes infected with COVID-19 must have their family physician complete the medical release form located at the bottom of this page, and then complete a gradual 7-day return to play protocol (after being cleared to return to school/sport).  This gradual return to play protocol will be monitored by our athletic training staff to help ensure the virus has not compromised the cardiovascular system.

Any questions about COVID-19 procedures relating to our student-athletes should be directed to the Director of Athletics, Mr. Timothy Rhoads at trhoads@ovsdpa.org or by calling 610-987-4111.
