The following coaching certifications must be completed before any coaching duties are performed:

Yearly Required Trainings:

Sudden Cardiac Arrest in Athletes

Concussion Awareness

Medication Administration - Epi Pen

Other Required Trainings (renewed every 5 years):

Youth Suicide - Awareness and Prevention (Act 71)

Child Abuse and Mandatory Reporting (Act 126)

All OVSD Coaches are now encouraged to take the required trainings through their SafeSchools login.  Please visit https://oleyvalleysd-pa.safeschools.com/login to complete all yearly training assignments.  Login credentials can be obtained by contacting the Director of Athletics. 

CPR/AED Training -

Required for all coaches - training times scheduled as needed with the Athletic Department.

Background Clearances - State Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprinting
